Assisted Transportation

Volunteers provide clients in-and-out-of-town rides.  There is a mileage charge for out-of-town rides, but a sliding fee schedule is available.

Friendly Visits

Volunteers are available to visit clients by phone or in their home.

These visits can sometimes allow

caregivers to run errands or attend an appointment.

Caregiver Support Group

A safe place for caregivers to come together with other caregivers to spend time sharing frustrations, sharing joys, sharing ideas, or lend a listening ear.

Shopping & Errands

Volunteers assist clients with shopping and

Light Housekeeping

and Chores

Volunteers help with simple chores such as changing light bulbs, smoke detector batteries or light housekeeping while recovering from a medical event.  We also keep a list of private contractors for heavier long-term tasks.



Social Activities

GF-LAH/BNP is a part of the Living at Home Network and can connect seniors with such resources as the MN Ombudsman Program.
